이번엔 시속 3200km다! 0% CG! 100% 리얼 스카이 액션! 프랑스 최고의 공군이자 둘도 없는 친구 사이인 마르첼리와 발로아는 비행연습을 마치고 복귀하던 중, 프랑스 신개발 전투기인 '미라지2000' 한대가 실종됐으니 찾으라는 상부의 명령을 받는다. 하지만 추격도중 '미라지2000'은 발로아를 향해 포격을 준비하고 다급해진 마르첼리는 상부의 명령을 어기고 '미라지2000'을 격추하게 된다. 상부의 명령을 어겼다는 이유로 두 사람은 징계를 받고 결국 공군에서?겨난다. 실의에 빠진 두 사람에게 국가의 특수 임무를 수행하는 '스폐셜 미션팀'에서 전투기 판매를 위한 미국과의 비행 시합에 참가하라는 제안이 들어오고 비행이 인생의 전부인 두 사람은 그 제안을 받아들이는데…

Les Chevaliers du ciel (English: Sky Fighters) is a 2005 French film directed by Grard Pirs about two air force pilots preventing a terrorist attack on the Bastille Day celebrations in Paris. It is based on Tanguy et Laverdure, a comics series by Jean-Michel Charlier and Albert Uderzo of Astrix fame, which was also made into a hugely successful TV series from 1967 to 1969 making Tanguy and Laverdure, the two main heroes, part of popular Francophone culture.
